We are redesigning and relaunching our cafe, and are looking for a new Cafe Development Officer.

We are looking for an innovative, passionate individual, who can take the lead in planning and delivering our café and food programmes. We want education and community to be at the heart of what we do, through innovative and creative delivery. We want to provide all service users with farm produce, sustainably sourced and locally produced food and other products from ethical organisations. Above all, we want to make sure the café provides an affordable, accessible and enjoyable experience for our local community.

Animal Care Volunteer Programme:

A four month, one day per week volunteering opportunity, click HERE for more information!

Events Volunteers​:

The farm hosts a range of large events throughout the year including  May Day, Annual Fundrainsing (August) and Halloween. These events take a lot of preperation and volunteers to help with execution! If you are interested in volunteering on event days please contact for an application form.


​​College Courses:

The farm hosts City and Guilds Level 1 Countryside Skills and Level 2 Animal Care college courses starting September of every year. For more information please visit our College Courses page. If you are not 100% sure if you want to commit to a college course at the farm we also offer taster days every month, after which you can decide if Bill Quay Farm is the learning space for you! Our next taster day is 14th March 9:30- 2pm. Community Gardening Afternoons:

We have regular community gardening sessions where anyone can visit the farm and help with the maintenance of our allotments​. You can come if you are a seasoned gardener, if you want to learn more about gardening or if you just fancy an afternoon outdoors! More information and dates on our Events Calendar​

As a charity we are always striving to become financially secure. By donating to the farm monthly you can help the farm become more sustainable, it also shows funders that the farm is worth funding when we can say we have XX monthly supporters!
